A LOT has gone on in the last couple of weeks, which I will hopefully have time to blog about later, but for now enjoy the list of food items featured at the State Fair of Texas. I've always loved how us Texans have a way with taking a healthy food and deep frying it and dipping it in ranch dressing! (Yum... I think I may have to make some fried green tomatoes again soon!) The Fair runs through Sunday, October 19th, so if you feel the need to hasten atherosclerosis, act fast! hehehe
Seriously, chicken fried bacon dipped in ranch!! I mean, could you GET any more unhealthy? But I have do have to admit, I feel strangely compelled to try it. Same with all of these fried Fair foods (say that five times fast):

I think I'm gonna be sick now.....
That is some crazy stuff! Thanks for sharing it! I'm still in shock over all the things people come up with to fry!!! Oh, and I agree with Jamie - it does leave a queasy feeling in my stomach :-)
The chicken fried bacon was nasty. What a waste of money.
I had the Fried Grilled Cheese with tomato soup...TOTALLY AWESOME! Haha, it really was good. I took a look at the chicken fried bacon (and even took a picture of it, ha!) and that was it...I don't want anything to do with that stuff! Haha.
Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
Not sure where to post this but I wanted to ask if anyone has heard of National Clicks?
Can someone help me find it?
Overheard some co-workers talking about it all week but didn't have time to ask so I thought I would post it here to see if someone could help me out.
Seems to be getting alot of buzz right now.
Thanks
